In partnership with a (phenomenal) student therapist from my alma mater, Lori Haas, I am gearing up for a new therapy group! We'll be offering support to transgender, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and gender-questioning youth, and their parents, using a pretty exciting approach. Youth and their parents will meet in separately facilitated groups during the first part of each session, then conclude each evening together, sharing and synthesizing what they've learned.

WHO: Adolescents, ages 14-18 (younger adolescents may be considered, with prior therapist approval), who self-identify within trans or nonbinary identities, or who are questioning their gender identity--and at least one parent, although we're happy to have more where feasible!

WHAT: Supportive discussion, exploration, and education, aimed at facilitating growth and closeness for teenage and adult participants, alike.

WHEN: 10 Friday sessions, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.

FEES: I can bill in-network with Sunflower or Amerigroup, and am happy to assist parents in filing out-of-network with other insurance companies, as relevant. Our discounted cash-pay fee per session is $45. For clients whose insurance excludes care, or who are uninsured, and who cannot afford to pay for services, we are able to negotiate a sustainable weekly fee, on the basis of their ability to pay.
