The Kansas Association of Marriage and Family Therapists' fall conference is right around the corner! I'll be co-presenting a session with my friend and colleague, Julie Miller, LMFT, on trans-affirming clinical competencies, when treating sexual concerns.
(And if you need some recommendations, I am both pretty excited about the 9:00 mindfulness session, and pretty bummed that I'll be missing Natasha Helfer-Parker's session on sex therapy with religious clients--which, sadly, coincides with ours!) If you're in Manhattan, or can brave the drive, it looks like a pretty great day of MFT networking and education.
